hi, i'm Lyd.

I've been a creative since as far back as I can remember, always scribbling away as a kid and making crafty things out of toilet rolls and tissue paper. Uni took me to the world of Book Arts, where I learnt the traditional craft of handmade books. Beyond that I worked for a small educational publisher, creating artwork for apps and printed materials. I knew that what I really wanted to do was illustration so I started creating my own illustrated greetings cards to sell on Etsy. Along the way I discovered that I also had a keen interest in graphic design and wanted to explore this further. That's when I enrolled at Strohacker Design School where I have now completed my professional training as a Graphic Designer.

I'm currently based in Brighton, where I dance ballet twice a week and enjoy going for strolls around the city and surrounding countryside. I love Tolkien, Studio Ghibli and camper vans. I'm also a bit of a photographer and enjoy creating fine art fantasy portraits, which you can see here. Find some of my scribbles here.
